Sponsors can now delete individual distributions and allocations. Please keep in mind the following:
The system will require you to input a comment to explain why the sponsor is deleting the distribution transaction (this info will be stored in the client log)
Deleting the distribution won’t move any funds or units, this needs to be tackled separately
Transactions are deleted one at a time
Please Note - “Deleting allocations at the Authorize state, will affect the funds to be sent.” (sponsor does not need to take ACH payments or mailed checks into consideration)
”Deleting allocations at the Payments Sent state, will not affect funds sent.”
(any ACH payments or check payments will not be retracted or canceled. The sponsor will need to handle recouping any payments that have been sent to their investors)
Step by Step Instructions:
Step 1. Navigate to the appropriate project associated with the distribution transactions.
Step 2. Click Distributions tab.
Step 3. Select the mass Distribution housing the individual transaction you want to be removed.
Step 4. Click Allocations tab.
Step 5. Select the box next to the line item/allocation that should be deleted (an error will appear if more than one transaction is selected).
Step 6. Next, click the Actions button and select Delete Allocation.
Step 7. Within the text box, please describe the reason the transaction is being removed within the Comments section (this is required) and then click Delete Allocation. You're all set!
Once the allocation is removed, the associated user log will reflect a log similar to the one below. The Comments section of the previous deletion window will be reflected as the Reason within the log:
