Sponsors have the ability to allow their Investors to upload an Accreditation Letter or to have them obtain an Accreditation Letter from InvestNext's third-party Accreditation partner — without having them go through the capital raise's Commitment Flow.

NOTE: If your investors are will be investing through a capital raise in InvestNext and you have Accreditation turned on for that capital raise, your investors will not need to get accredited beforehand. The Capital Raise Commitment Flow will include the Accreditation process.

Managing Self-Service Accreditation

STEP 1: Navigate to the Gear Icon (Settings)

STEP 2: Click on Advanced Settings

STEP 3: Scroll down to the Advanced Accreditation Settings section

STEP 4: Enable either or both of these two options and Save Changes:

  • Enable Manual Review of Existing Accreditation Letters:
This section allows investors to upload an Accreditation Letter they have received from a third-party.

This feature lets you, the Sponsor, review and approve uploaded accreditation letters manually, bypassing third-party verification fees.

IMPORTANT: This feature only applies when Automated Verification is enabled in Capital Raise settings. Without Automated Verification, all Accreditation, including existing letters, will require manual approval.

  • Enable Self-Service Accreditation via Third Party:
This section allows investors to use our third-party Accreditation partner to obtain an Accreditation Letter.

Investors can complete their third-party Accreditation within the Investor Portal, under their Settings tab.

InvestNext’s Accreditation Partner will automatically review Accreditation for investors at a flat rate of $59/verification.

STEP 5: Make sure to Save Changes (located at the top right of the page.)
