Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1. After logging into the Investor Portal, click on the 'Settings' tab:

Step 2. From the Settings screen, click on the 'Linked Bank Accounts' tab:

Step 3. Click the '+ ADD NEW' button:

Step 4. You can add a Bank Account either by linking it through Plaid, or by manually typing in the Routing and Account numbers. A pop-up will appear with the two workflows to choose from:

  1. 'Add Your Bank Account with Plaid'

  2. 'Or, Enter Bank Information Manually'

Option 1 - Plaid:

Plaid is a third-party integration that links to over 10,000 U.S. Financial Institutions. Plaid's security practices are designed to meet or exceed the industry standards that banks and leading technology companies use.

IMPORTANT: If you'd like to fund your Investment through the Portal, via ACH, you'll have to select Plaid as the method of adding your Bank Account.

Option 2 - Manual:

If you choose to link your bank account manually, fill out all of the required fields and click 'Add New Bank Account':

IMPORTANT: If you select to manually enter your Bank Account, you will only be able to receive funds to this account (Distribution Payments), but will be unable to send funds from this account (fund your Commitment/Investment).

Field Definitions:

  • Bank Account Nickname: This field isn’t the legal name listed with your bank. Just a friendly name to help you distinguish between bank accounts.

  • Routing Number: This is your bank's routing number. This can usually be found on your bank's website.

  • Account Number: This is your specific account number where you want the funds to be distributed.

  • Account Type: This tells the system if the account is a Checking or Savings.

  • Select which investing account(s) to link this bank account to: In this section, you can select which Investment Accounts/Entity to link to this Bank Account. Distribution payments made to your selected Investment Accounts will then be sent to this Bank Account.

NOTE: If you do not see the "Select which investing account(s) to link this bank account to" field, as shown in the example above, it is likely because you are not the Primary Account holder of the Investment Account/Entity, and therefore don't have editing permissions.

This behavior is by design, as oftentimes Primary Account holders will invite their spouses, business partners, CPAs, and other authorized users (which have limited editing permissions) to the Investment Account/Entity.

If you believe that you should be the Primary Account holder of an Account/Entity, please contact the investment group managing this Investor Portal.
