On occasion, you may have investors who choose to invest in your Project outside of the Investor Portal. In this instance, you can manually record a receipt of funds!
IMPORTANT: Before proceeding, the Investor must have an Opportunity and Commitment recorded.
If the Investor Committed and signed their Documents outside of the InvestNext system, you can manually create an Opportunity page to record their Commitment and upload their signed Documents:
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1. Navigate to the Capital Raises tab and choose the applicable Capital Raise.
Step 2. Navigate to the Commitments tab.
Step 3. Click on the Commitment for which you would like to record receipt of funds.
Step 4. Under Funding Detail, click Receive Funds.
Step 3. Fill in the investment date (the date you received funds), the amount, and a note (optional). Then, check or uncheck the email notification. Finally, click Record Investment.
Step 4. Once submitted, you'll be notified the investment was recorded successfully. It will now show up under your Project's Transactions tab.
