The Position holds the transaction history (investments, distributions, transfers, reinvestments) and ownership that an investor has in a Project.

Sponsors have the ability to manually add an investor's Position (Investing Account) to a Project. There are many reasons why you may need to manually do this. To name a few:

  • You need to record a transfer of ownership over an investment from one Investing Account to another Investing Account.

  • You need to record a historical investment from an investor.

  • You need to record a GP's Position and ownership in the Project.

This article/video shows you how to add a new Position to a Project, and then record an investor's Equity/Debt contribution. Watch the following video to help you through the process.
