How to Transfer Ownership of Funds/Investment (Project to Project)

Transferring Funds from one Position to another Position in a Different Project.

Use this article for when you need to transfer equity from one Project to another Project.

IMPORTANT: In order to transfer funds, you will need to make sure that the new Account which will receive funds has been added as a Position in the appropriate Project. Use these Articles to:


Step-by-Step Instructions:

PART 1. Redeem your investor to the Treasury Account.

PART 2. Add the equity to the new Position in the other Project.

PART 3. After the transfer to Treasury is complete, the site may take a short period to update:

STEP 1. Once updated, you will see a line item on the Position for Transfer to Treasury. The specific investment details in the bottom-left of the position detail will be removed.

NOTE: If the Transfer to Treasury was for the total Capital Balance, as of the specified effective date, that investor is no longer considered an Active investor in the Project. They will not have access to content that is targeted to the active investor audience.

STEP 2. When you add the equity into the new Project, the investor will then be able to see their investment in that Project.
