Deal Room: Adding Information to the Capital Raise Deal Room

This article will step you through how to add content to the Deal Room for your new Capital Raise.

When you are setting up your new Capital Raise, the Deal Room is where you will add the most important Information you wish to share with your prospective investors.


The Deal Room allows you to add the following content about your Deal/Offering for your prospective investors to review:

  • Showcase Image: An image of the Investment whether property or another asset

  • Investment Headline: A brief summary of the Investment

  • Investment Summary: Important Investment information usually from the Offering Memorandum. Includes text, charts, photos, videos and more

  • Key Information: Metrics such as IRR or Returns

  • External Resources (links): Links to your website, online track record or other online resources you would like to share with your potential investors

  • Photos: Add photos of your project, images of drawings, maps and more

  • Attachments: Attach your documents here for the investors to review before they make their Commitment


Step-by-Step Instructions:

Use the guide below to add details about your Deal/Offering to the Deal Room section of your Capital Raise!

STEP 1: Navigate to the Capital Raises section and click on the specific Capital Raise:


STEP 2: Click on the Deal Room button. The Deal Room editing screen will display:

NOTE: You can Preview the Deal Room at any time by clicking on the Preview Deal Room button:

Remember to save your changes first to see the latest additions in the Deal Room Preview.


Showcase Image

The Showcase Image is displayed in both your Deal Room and on the Offerings page of the investor's portal.

STEP 1: Click on the Plus Sign to select and add an image of the Investment to showcase the property or other asset. You can also add an image of a concept drawing. These file types work best: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif

NOTE: The recommended Showcase photo size and ratio recommendations are:

  • Landscape Orientation Recommended

  • Recommended image size is 1920px width by 1080px height


Investment Headline

The Investment Headline allows you insert a short description of the offering. This text displays under the name of the Capital Raise on the Deal Page and on the Offerings page of the investor's portal.

STEP 1: Click into the Investment Headline field to add the text:

TIP: Remember to save your changes first to see the latest additions in the Deal Room Preview.

INVESTOR POV: The text will display as shown below when you preview the Deal Page:


Investment Summary

STEP 1: Click into the Investment Summary section to add rich content including text, charts, photos, videos, and more:

Key Information

Add key metrics, such as IRR or projected returns, that you want your prospective investors to quickly view here:

STEP 1: Add the Metric name in the Info Name (e.g. Expected Return) field

STEP 2: Add the Metric value in the Info value (e.g. 10%) field.

STEP 3: Click the +Add button.

TIP: There is no limit to the number of Metrics you can add.

TIP: Remember to save your changes first to see the latest additions in the Deal Room Preview.

INVESTOR POV: The Key Information metrics will display on the right side of the Deal Page as shown in the example below:


External Resources (Links)

Use the External Resources (Links) section to link other online resources that you would like to share with your prospective investors to your Deal Room. These can include: Your website, online track record, or other online resources.

STEP 1: Add the Link name in the Link name field.

NOTE: This is the name that your prospective investors will see on the Deal Page.

STEP 2: Add the link in the Link URL field.

STEP 3: Click the +Add button.

TIP: Remember to save your changes first to see the latest additions in the Deal Room Preview.

INVESTOR POV: The External Resources (Links) will display on the Deal Page as shown in the example below:


Photos

Use the Photos to add photos of your project, images of drawings, maps and more to your Deal Room. You can also create a Gallery of photos.

STEP 1: Click on the Plus in the Photos section - just below the Showcase Image:

STEP 1: Upload images as directed in this popup window:

INVESTOR POV: The photos will display on the Deal Page as shown in the example below:

Gallery:

STEP 1: Click +Add Gallery to add a Gallery of Photos:


STEP 2: Click the pencil Edit button to enter the Gallery name:

STEP 3: Click on the "+" button below the Gallery name:


STEP 4: Upload the images as directed in this popup window:

STEP 5: When you have added all the images to the Gallery, click Done.

STEP 6: Click the pencil icon to add a caption or name for each photo.

INVESTOR POV: The Gallery will display on the Deal Page as shown in the example below:


Attachments

Use the Attachments to attach your documents to the Deal Page for investors to review before they make their Commitment.

STEP 1: Click into the Deal room from the top of the Capital Raise page.

STEP 2: Click the + Add New button on the bottom of the page under Attachments & Documents.

STEP 3: Upload the Document:

  • Add the Title for the document that the investors will see

  • Click Choose File to select the document

  • Click the Upload button to upload the document

INVESTOR POV: The Attachment(s) will display on the Deal Page as shown in the example below:
