There are many reasons why a Sponsor or Co-sponsor may want to restrict the Audience for a Capital Raise. In InvestNext, the default Audience setting for any Capital Raise is always set to allow only individuals who are Registered Contacts and currently logged in to the Investor Portal. It will appear as an Offering in their Investor Portal.
You can select which investors or prospective investors you want to give access to your Capital Raise Deal Room, as well as, restrict who can see the Capital Raise Deal Room.
TIP: Sponsors can create a custom Contact Filter that allows them to select specific Contacts they'd like to group together. Prior to selecting an Audience for your Capital Raise Deal Room, you can create a Contact Filter containing the specific set of Contacts you would like to share the Deal Room with.
β

TIP: Depending on the Contact Filter you are using in the 'Select Audience' field, you can:
Restrict an Open Capital Raise to only those investors who are currently in the Contact Filter, or who will be added to the Contact Filter if the Filter is dynamic.
βRestrict a Closed Capital Raise to only those investors who are already invested in the Capital Raise by:
Adding the Project Contact Filter - this Contact Filter is automatically created by the system and only includes Funded/Active Investors in the Project.
You can double-check who is in a system-generated Project Contact Filter by:
Navigating to 'Contacts' in the Portal Main Menu
Clicking on 'All Contacts'
Selecting the name of the Project
