User-Created Contact filters will allow you to create specific groupings of Investors which you can quickly access or refer to when sending emails, updates, or raising capital.
This Article will demonstrate 2 methods you can use to make a User-created Filter:

Create a User-created Filter using Tags
If you have a list of Contacts that you would like to include in a Filter, but they do not have any characteristics in common, you can mass apply a Tag to the specific Contacts and then use the Tag to create the User-created Filter.
STEP 1. Log in to your InvestNext admin account and navigate to Contacts on the left-hand side of the page.
STEP 2. Select the Contacts you want to include in the User-Created Filter:
STEP 3. Use the Actions button to add a unique Tag to all the selected Contacts:
Click Actions
Select Add Tag
Enter the name of the Tag you want to apply to the Contacts
Click Add Tags
STEP 4. Use the Tags column to filter the Contact list to a specific Tags list of Contacts:
STEP 5. Click Save As to create your User-Created Contact Filter. Enter the Name of your preference and click Create Filter:

Create a User-created Filter using the Filter Selection Drawer
STEP 1. Log in to your InvestNext admin account and navigate to Contacts on the left-hand side of the page.
STEP 2. Click on the Filter button and a column will appear on the right-hand side of the Portal.
STEP 3. Click on any of the filters.
In this example, we are using the "Has Opportunity in..." filter. Note: If there are Contacts that meet the criteria of the filter, they will begin to populate the screen.

STEP 4. When you have completed building your Contact list, click Save As.
STEP 5. Enter the Name of your new filter and click the Create Filter button:
Removing a User-Created Filter
You can remove a User-Created filter at any time using these steps:
STEP 1. Go to the Contacts section.
STEP 2. Click on All Contacts and search for the filter by name or scroll down to the User-created Filters section of the drop-down menu:
STEP 3. Click on the X beside the filter name you wish to delete and click Remove Filter:
