In each Project, an admin can view the “Ownership” percentage for each investor’s Position in that Project. This is the investor’s percentage of ownership of the entire Project.
NOTE: This “Ownership” percentage in the Position is available in the Admin view only. Investors do not see this Ownership percentage.
Each Position's Ownership Percentage is broken down by their respective Class in the Position. Scroll down the Position to see each Class the investor is invested in and their Ownership in each of the Classes.
In the Class section of the Position, the Ownership Percentage is calculated:
Class Percentage Ownership (Auto-calculated based on Units in a Class) * Equity Class Ownership % (defined in Classes)
NOTE: Each investor's ownership percentage within their respective Class is automatically calculated based on the total amount of funds within the class compared to their contributing amount. The class ownership is related to the percentage of the total project that each class owns.
To allow the investor to see their Ownership Percentage within their Class, you must enable the Metric: Class Ownership. Refer to this resource under the Metrics section.
To allow the Project to calculate the Ownership Percentage for an investor’s Position, follow the steps below:
