How to Close a Capital Raise after the Target Goal is Met

This article walks through what happens when you let the system automatically close a capital raise when the target goal is met.

This feature is handy when you do not want to oversubscribe on a capital raise. When enabled, the system will automatically stop taking additional investor commitments once the target amount is reached.


Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1. Open up your Capital Raise Settings tab:

Step 2. Make sure that your Target Amount is up to date. Once you have collected enough commitments to meet this amount, the system will automatically close the capital raise.

Step 3. Now that you have your target amount ready to go, toggle on the Auto-Close feature:

Step 4. Don't forget to click Save Changes at the top right of the page :)

Example 1: The investor has tried to commit more than what is available in the capital raise.

Example 2: The investor has tried to make a commitment after the capital raise's target goal has been met.
