The Teams feature in InvestNext allows Sponsors to easily organize data while still providing a high level of security.

﻿What is Teams and why should I use it?

Teams is a great security feature that allows sponsors to create a group of sponsor users, limiting their access to a subset of data within areas of the platform (ex. Contacts). As an administrator, you will have the ability to create Teams, add users to a Team and assign which Contacts, Capital Raises, and more belong to that Team.

What are the different types of users within Teams

A teams admin is someone who is either an <code>Admin</code> profile type, or has the <code>User Administrator</code> permission. As an admin you can create and manage Teams, as well as assign/remove teams to a resource.

Team Admins can view everything. This includes opportunities and investment data from all contributing Teams.

A global user is a user who is a part of zero teams

A team member is a user who is apart of at least one team

Team members can only view resources that are a part of at least one of their Teams
