Q. The investors of the co-sponsor do not see any documents to sign. How do I fix this?

A. In the co-sponsor settings of a capital raise, the co-sponsor should have at minimum a Contributor role. This would enable investors that come through the co-sponsor website to see the deal room, sign documents, and make a commitment.

Q. Can a co-sponsor change their the Main Sponsor or other Co-sponsor’s Deal Room content?

A. Yes. If the Co-sponsor has been given Admin level Access by the Main Sponsor for the Capital Raise.

Essentially, there is only one “copy” of the Deal Room. While a co-sponsor with Admin level access CAN edit the Deal Room, because there is only one "copy” of the Deal Room, their edit will show on everyone’s (Main Sponsor and other co-sponsors) Capital Raise Deal Room page. This applies to documents that are “attached” to the Deal Room page as well.

At this time, there is no way that each co-sponsor can edit their own investment summaries to include their company names etc.

Q. Can a Main Sponsor send Updates directly to a co-sponsor's investors?

A. Yes when the Co-Sponsor turns on the Automatically Publish Lead Sponsor Updates option:

NOTE: When this setting is NOT enabled, the Lead Sponsor can share the Updates with the Co-Sponsor's portal and the Co-sponsor can then edit and send on to their Investors!

Steps the Co-Sponsor will take to turn on this setting:

  1. Go to the Fundraising section.

  2. Click into the Capital Raise.

  3. Click the Details button.

  4. Toggle the Automatically Publish Lead Sponsor Updates option to the ON position

  5. Click Save Changes.

NOTE: When this setting is NOT enabled, the Lead Sponsor can share the Updates with the Co-Sponsor's portal and the Co-sponsor can then edit and send on to their Investors!
