This article and video is a breakdown of the new Capital Raise 2.0 layout and functionality with key highlights of the most prominent changes and upgrades.

VIDEO BREAKDOWN:

What has changed?

We have changed the name from Fundraising to Capital raises. One of the first things to notice is the capital Raise now displays a list of all the current capital raises for easy access. There is an option to change the view from Gallery to Grid view depending on which ever way you prefer by going to the top right.

The Grid View will display all the capital raises you have created.

Gallery View provides a progress bar of the Total Funds Received.

Capital Raise Status:

You can now filter the list of capital raises by status such as Draft, Upcoming, Active and Closed when in Gallery/Grid view.

When you click into a capital raise, when in the Overview Tab, you will see a button called Set Status, this allows you to set the status from Draft, Upcoming, Active or Closed.

Tabs:

When clicking into a capital raise you will notice that the Deal Room and Settings have been moved to the top for quick access.

Overview:

The overview section will provide you with information such as:

1.Total Funds Received

2. Total Pipeline Value

3.Outstanding amount

4.Target amount

5.Total Number of Opportunities

6.Total Number of Commitments

Opportunities:

An opportunity is an investor who has started the process of committing, by a soft commit, but has not yet legally committed by agreeing to the Investment Disclaimer during the commitment flow.

This section has two options the Pipeline or Grid view!

When in the Grid view, you are able to checkmark and select contacts to easily Tag them for better filtering capabilities. Each contact can still be clicked into to view commitment information and manually Record a commitment.

Pipeline:

The Pipeline functionality remains the same but has some cosmetic changes. The pipeline view allows you to view your investors as well as giving you the ability to click and drag each contact into the next stage.

Commitments:

A commitment represents an investor's intent to invest within a capital raise with a specific dollar amount and investing entity. Once the commitment requirements are met and funds are officially received by the sponsor, a commitment is upgraded to an official investment within the capital table of the project.

The most significant change in this section is that you'll now only see commitments related to the specific capital raise you're viewing. This update provides a clearer, more focused view by eliminating the previous inclusion of all commitments across different capital raises, reducing potential confusion. You will also notice that we changed the Account name column to Commitment and the functionality remains the same.

Deal Room:

The Deal Room has been relocated to the top as a tab option, providing much quicker access than before. You can now easily edit all sections within the Deal Room from this new location.

Settings:

The settings section now contains all the important settings options located all in one place! One of the most important sections, commitment flow, is now located within the capital raise settings!
