Ensuring that your investor distributions are classified correctly is an important role of being a sponsor. With the reclassify/split distribution tool, sponsors have more control over distribution details that are reflected to investors with a few clicks!

Step 1. Navigate to the Project associated with the distribution payment that needs to be reclassified and/or split. Then click the Distributions tab.

Step 2. Select the distribution mass payment that houses the individual transaction/distribution that should be updated. Then select the Allocations tab.

Step 3. Select the box next to the individual transaction that should be updated. Then select Actions then Edit Allocation.

Step 4. From the dropdown menu, you'll have the option to update the distribution allocation classification. If the distribution classification should be split, then the Add feature would be used to reallocate the distribution between 2 or more classifications.

Step 5. Once the allocation is correctly updated, click Save Changes.
