Statement Overview

This article will give an overview of the three sections in the Statement Manager section of InvestNext

The Statement section within in InvestNext will be your central hub that will help sponsors build statements, create repeatable templates, and manage their existing statements.

There are three sections at the top when you enter the Statements grid:

  • Builder

  • Templates

  • Manager

BUILDER

Builder - In this section, you will be able to create different types of statements for your investors. There are options to create the following three types of statements:

  • Project Statement - these statements will be generated for every position within a particular project(s);

  • Account Statement - statements in this section can be generated at the investing Account level, allowing you to generate statements if you only need them for one, or a few, investing Accounts;

  • Contact Statement - these statements are useful to generate when you clients need to see an overview of all of their investments with your firm. These statements will associate every investing account that a Contact is linked to on InvestNext, giving them a complete financial overview;

TEMPLATES

Templates - In this section, you will be able to create multiple templates that can be easily accessed in the Builder section of Statements, allowing sponsor to quickly generate the appropriate statement for their investors.

  • You are able enter text to search for a saved statement based on the name;

  • There is a Created column informing the sponsor when this particular template was built;

  • The Last Modified column will show you if the statement template has been edited, and the date will reflect the last time that occurred;

In the upper right hand side of this section, you can click on the + New Template button in order to start creating your very own templates.

MANAGER

Manager - In this section, you will be able to manage all of your previously generated statements. You will be able to search and filter for specific statements that you have created in the past.

  • Name - you are able enter text to search for a saved statement based on the name;

  • Start and End Date - you can filter by start/end date and use this feature to search for a period of time;

  • Investor Portal Access - you can view if the statement has been given access to the portal, in the Investor Portal Access section. This lets the sponsor know that statement is or is not live for their investors;

  • Recipients - this column informs the sponsor how many recipients this request generated statements for;

  • Created - shows the date the statement was generated;

  • Actions - allows you to Rename in the event you need a specific statement name and also allows you to delete the statement if you no longer need this batch of statements;

The Actions button in the upper right hand side will allow you to Publish/Unpublish statements on scale.
