When managing E-Signature document templates within your portal (such as Subscription Agreements, Questionnaires, or Company Agreements), it's crucial to keep them organized and up-to-date.
If you're embarking on a fresh Capital Raise and your chosen attorney remains the same as in previous capital raises, the odds are high that your new document bears a strong resemblance to its predecessors. In such cases, the Replace and Edit function becomes your ally. This facilitates the replacement of the previous PDF document with a new PDF document, while preserving the E-Signature fields of the previous template. Step-by-Step Instructions:
STEP 1. Navigate to 'E-Signatures' in your Portal's Main Menu. Select the E-Signature Template you want to use again and replace the document with:
STEP 2. A side panel will appear. Click on the 'Replace with New File' icon:
STEP 3. A pop-up window will appear:
Enter the Name for the new E-Signature Template
Enter the Display Name that will appear for Investors in the Commitment Flow
Click Choose File to upload the new PDF document
Click Replace and Edit
STEP 4. A "success" message will appear once the new E-Signature Template has been generated and the new Template will appear at the top of the list:
STEP 5. Click on the new E-Signature Template then click 'Edit Template layout' to review and make edits to the E-Signature fields (if needed):
STEP 6. Click 'Save template' to save any your changes you made to the Template:
