The following article will show you how to create an email from the Communications section of InvestNext. We will start with a video overview but will have detailed slides below that, in case you prefer that method.
The following video will cover how to create and send an email using the Communications center.
Step 1: You will Navigate to Communications > Email Center > + New Email in order to get started.
Step 2: You can either enter your contacts individually from the Recipients section or you can use one of the filters from the Contacts grid.
Step 3: Enter an appropriate title in the Subject line, then start to draft your email.
You will notice at the bottom of the Text Summary Box there is a Text Editor. You can use these to improve the quality of your email communications. We will discuss those features now.

More Text: When you click the 'More Text' feature, a menu will open to display all the tools available within it. You can customize the following details:
Paragraph Format, Font Size, Font Style, Text Color, and Background Color
Line Height, Bold/Italicized/Underlined, Clear Formatting, Alignment, Indentation, and List Ordering
Inset Link: You can hyperlink a portion of Text with a URL. Optionally, you can set that link to open up a new tab when it's clicked by someone:
Insert Table: You can customize the number of boxes you'd like your table to contain:
Insert Image: You can upload, drag and drop, or link an image:
Attach File: You can insert a file from your computer.
Merge Variables: You have the option to use this feature to insert each contacts first, last, or both names into the email.
Undo: This button will revert back to before the last step that you just completed. Its the "undo" button.
Code Review: This button gives you the ability to embed html code into the email. Clicking this button will take you from a plain text view to a Code Review and vice versa.
Now you are ready to Create a draft and save the email or send the email.
